Description
This simple, yet unique and hand forged dinner triangle and ringer are made from steel, hammer textured and finished with beeswax to protect it from the elements. When strung up to a bracket or tree branch, the triangle’s bright ring evokes memories of the farmstead and country. Every part of the triangle and ringer is forged, giving it a unique texture that is the signature of a hand made item. The triangle comes with a durable leather lace threaded through the top hole for easy hanging.

Process:
Starting with 5/16″ hot rolled mild steel, I texture the entire length of the rod with hammer blows, then shape the rat tail and “blacksmith’s handle” curl for both the triangle and ringer. While the pieces are still warm from the forge, I coat them thoroughly with beeswax for protection against rust. The triangle has a small hole punched into its apex where a durable leather lace is threaded for easy hanging.
