Description
A wrought iron heart key and key tag hand forged by artist blacksmith Tim Peel-Wickstrom. These are made and stamped with blacksmith tools and so each key chain is one of a kind and shows all the hammer marks that come with being handmade. They have a wonderful feel to them, unlike anything you can buy in a store.
Hand forged from steel bar and wire brushed briskly to create a rustic and charming finish, this custom key chain is a great gift for birthdays, to commemorate special dates or events, or to celebrate an Iron Anniversary (six years). The heart key and tag are 2 3/4″ long and comes with a stainless steel key ring that’s 1″ in diameter.
You can request custom names, messages or dates to be stamped into both sides of the key chain. Special symbols such as hearts, square or round points and others can be added as well. I can fit up to eight characters on each side, excluding periods “.” and slashes “/”. See the photo of all stamping options.
A beeswax finish is applied to prevent rust, and the natural oils in skin will help it develop a dark patina over the years.
