This wrought iron fire poker is hand forged from 3/8″ square steel bar. It features a beautiful reverse twist and a hand burned wolf design created by artist Lorinda Peel-Wickstrom and hand burned by Sam Krausz. The wooden grip is comfortable and one of a kind. This fire poker style is ideal for outdoor fire pits or large fireplaces.
Every inch of the fire poker is hammered, lending it a handmade yet polished style. A quick wire brush smooths the surface and is finally sealed with a linseed oil coating to bring out the natural beauty of the steel. Boiled linseed oil is an excellent choice for protecting both the steel and the wood of this beautiful fire poker. Store your fire poker out of the weather to maintain its beauty and minimize rusting.
The forged steel ring at the end of the poker makes hanging the poker a breeze when stored away (out of the rain, of course!) A hand forged nail is included.
